This is the question I asked yesterday to myself. Till now I have one answer and it may be true, We do not have Sachin Tendualkar in Tennis.
In modern India many watch Tennis, Formula 1 and many other sports which no one was following 10 years back. We have some desi superstars in each sports about whom we read from news papers but never follows them. May be they are not as talented as the best in that sports, but It will be great if we can follow and support our own countryman in sports and other events.
When I think about Tendulkar I find a simple formula:
Tendulkar = 50 % Talent + 50 % Support and Faith
May be the above formula is wrong for some but there is no Tendulkar without Supporters or Faith for him.
This should also be followed in other sports. When Sania Nahewal goes to some tournament our media should give equal coverage what they do during French Open or Wimbledon.
Our Hockey team should be given as much as support they want.
This is where many great players emerge.
My only dream is to see many Tendulkars in each and every sports or games India plays.
