Bhubaneswar : To ascertain the reason behind the delay in the implementation of the Posco project,Korean Broadcasting Service team,which has come to Orissa met with the Orissa officials on Monday.
To take stock of the ground level progress,the media team from Seoul visited the Posco site.Later,a four-member team met with government officials at the state secretariat and discussed in detail with the state Chief Secretary B K Patnaik about the reasons of delay in materializing the project.
According to Patnaik, the delay in the implementation of the country's biggest FDI was mostly due to late final forest clearance for the project which was given by the Ministry of Environment and Forest (MoEF) only in May, 2011.
