Bhubaneswar: Alleging the release of the manifesto by the Congress as a gross violation of the model code of conduct, Odisha's ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) on Sunday urged Election Commission to ban it.
In a letter to the SEC,BJD general secretary Narendra Kumar Swain has emphasized seizure of the document immediately to ensure fair poll practices.
Refuting the allegations of the Congress that there were 14 ‘tainted’ Ministers, including the Chief Minister,Swain said that the allegations are completely baseless.
