Berhampur: In a shocking incident,two children of a family were killed and two others seriously injured when a fire broke out in their thatched house at K Nuagaon near Chikiti in Ganjam district.
According to sources, when the children were asleep in the makeshift thatched house and their parents working outside, the fire erupted.
All the injured children were rushed to a hospital where a 11 year-old girl and her seven year-old brother succumbed , while the condition of other two children of the family was stated to be out of danger by the hospital authorities.
The family hailed from Kurulumela village of Bolangir district and was working at K Nuagaon in a brick-kiln.
