
Angul: Vigilance sleuths searched the residential house of Bansidhar Dehury, the headmaster of Chhendipada High School, at Banianati Sahi, Chhendipada,his father-in-law’s house at Tentoloi, Chhendipada, residential house of Ranjan Kumar Giri at Purnachandrapur, Baripada and Government quarter of Giri, CI of Schools, at Amalapada, Dhenkanal simultaneously.
It was alleged that Bansidhar Dehury had acquired and in possession of assets disproportionate to his known source of income.
Sources said, the movable and immovable assets, found in possession of Dehury in his and family members’ name included costly household articles, a Hero Honda motorcycle, gold and silver ornaments worth Rs 92,000, deposits in different banks, post offices and LIC premium to the tune of Rs 17.76 lakh, hard cash of over Rs 35,000, hand loans amounting to Rs 8.13 lakh given to different persons, a double-storied building and a plot of land at Chhendipada totally worth Rs 10,04 lakh,which were revealed during search operation.
