Bhubaneswar: To tackle Naxalism in the state,Odisha will get one more BSF battalion soon.
After attending the meeting of Home Secretaries of five Maoist- affected States- Odisha, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Bihar and Maharastra at New Delhi, state home secretary UN Behera said that the state government had requested for deployment of additional CPMF, however, the Union Home Ministry had agreed to provide one more BSF battalion. The new battalion of CPMF would be deployed soon, he said.
