Bhubaneswar: To the delight of sports loving Odias,Srabani Nanda,said to be most promising sprinter of the state,bagged a silver medal in the 200 meter sprint in 51st National Open Athletic Championship at Salt lake stadium in Kolkata.
Nanda clocked 24.52 seconds in the event to achieve the second position in the five-day-long athletic championship,which was concluded on Tuesday.
The state got altogether two silver medals in this National Championship in which four athletes of the State participated.
